Memoria Enigma tells the story of the Cortés family and their extraordinary discovery of a magical artifact. On the trail of the mystery, one virtually relives the memories of individual family members and delves into the mysterious events of the family. The project was created in collaboration with my fellow student Jessica Röll under the supervision of Nuri Ovüc at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. The topic of the course was time travel.

The introductory level begins in a forest as the player makes their way to the Cortés family estate. Inside their suitcase, the player discovers a letter that unveils the captivating story of Memoria Enigma and explains the purpose of their journey.
The estate of the Cortés family was once a prosperous and magnificent place. In addition to various bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room, there was a grand library, a family tree, and an opulent study.
The library of the Cortés estate is distinguished not only by its multitude of books and writings. A small pond, surrounded by a majestic tree, adorns the center of the library. Alexandre Cortés spent a great deal of time here advancing his studies.
The Cortés family's workspace, cherished and utilized for generations. Young Andre Cortés delighted in playing in this room until he vanished without a trace.
First Memory Leap
Deep in the family's historical past, we witness Jean-Baptiste Cortés und and his mutiny driven by madness and paranoia on the high seas.
The Second Memory Leap
Within it, diverse scenes emerge. The loss and sorrow surrounding Andre, leading up to the reason for his disappearance, shed light on this void of memories and clarify the events.
